Travel with full peace of mind - all our quotes/bookings include the best level of cover available - LDW. All Westcoast Campers rental vehicles carry $5 million public liability and property damage insurance. The vehicles have a minimum $400 deductible for comprehensive.
The deductible for Motorhome Vehicle accident is $300. This also includes VIP - which covers pre approved expenses for accommodation, and transportation (excluding fuel and food) up to the amount of the daily rental rate in the event of a mechanical breakdown requiring the vehicle to be in repair for more than 12 hours. Maximum liability coverage is $1500 per rental. Mechanical breakdown does not include the malfunctions of the radio/CD player, air conditioner, fridge, stove, oven, water pump, generator, furnace or any other appliance.
Guest Pays
- Two-vehicle accident on a signed and numbered road, (with police and accident report if damage exceeds $400): $300
- Damage caused by fire, theft or vandalism: $200
- Windshield / glass: $200
- Damage incurred when travelling on restricted highways: $1500
- Damage while backing up: $1500
- Roof damage (not caused by two vehicle accident on a numbered road) and striking overhead objects: $1500
- Undercarriage damage and/or tires: All costs
- Interior damage (not caused by two-vehicle accident on a numbered road): All costs
- Collision with big animals: $200
- No written accident report & police file number (or station notification within 24 hours of accident) - All costs
- Hit and Run (where you cause damage to third party property in your vehicle and do not report it, or where a third party hits and damages your vehicle and you are unable to obtain third party contact information - $1500
Please note the following conditions
There is no insurance coverage and guest will be responsible for all damages if the vehicle is driven to an unauthorized area without approval. These areas include travel to Mexico, gravel roads, Dempster Highway, Laird Highway, Dalton Highway. The C30 motorhomes are not permitted to travel in Alaska, Yukon or Northwest Territories. Use of these routes assumes responsibility for all damage is on the guest and there is a $1000 penalty for unauthorized driving in these areas.
